Didnt use a mixer to mix the ingredients hence the texture wasn’t smooth but the taste is still great! : )
Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe
1 cup unsalted butter (226grams)
3/4 granulated white sugar
3/4 fine brown sugar
2 large eggs
11/2 teaspoon pure vanilla essence
21/4 all purpose flour (plain flour also can)
1 teaspoon baking soda (bicarbonate soda)
1/2 teaspoon salt
11/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (use more if u like with more chips)
Preheat oven 190 degrees
Cream butter with mixer untill soft.
Add in white and brown sugar.Mixed butter and sugar till light and fluffy.
Beat in eggs (one at a time). Making sure is well mixed.
Add vanilla essence into mixture.(wet ingredients)
In a separate bowl,
Sieve flour,baking soda and salt together.(dry ingredients)
Mixed dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. Making sure is well mixed.
Lastly, add in chocolate chips and mix using a spatula. (do not use mixer)
For me, i roll the mixture into small balls to bake.( is really up to u hw u wanna do it)
Put the balls onto baking trays lined with baking sheets. Place trays in pre-heated oven for 10-12 mins. Baked cookies shd be brown in colour and center shd be hard.
If u use salted butter then skip the salt in the dry ingredients.
If u find mixture too soft, leave it in the fridge for 30mins or longer.(makes the dough easier to work with)
If u want bigger cookies,can use a ice-cream scoop.
Always bake a few first to see how big the cookie can spread.
